TEAMS

A few times a year groups of volunteers come to Jeffrey’s Bay to make a big difference. These young people (and some a bit more 'mature') always work very hard and have a life changing experience by meaning so much for the children in the different projects.

They roll up their sleeves for maintenance (like building, painting and working in the gardens) and get involved in different children’s programmes.

Of course they also get to experience the beauty of South-Africa by making trips to, for example, Addo Elephant Park, Sea View Lion Park, Tsitsikamma Nature Reserve etc.

Despite the confrontation with the poverty and the situation in which the children live, they also have a lot of fun!

Before the youngsters get here most of the time they already had a year of preparations which consists of giving presentations, team building and fundraising etc.

Beforehand the youngsters don’t only realize how much they ‘change the situation’ but also ‘how much the situation changes them’!
