Hulpgoederencontainer nummer 5 is aangekomen!

Holiday Program (6-10 April 2009)
The children from Jeffrey's Bay were offered a wonderful holiday program during their school holidays. The theme was: Friends of Jesus/Easter.
The Memory verse was: John 15:13 Greater love has no one that this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
Every day over 250 children enjoyed the worship, the skit, Bible story and of course the food and drinks.
We pray that many seeds for the Kingdom are planted in the hearts of those children. We trust that those seeds will come to full bloom in the lives of these precious people.

Christmas at the day-care
During the last weeks of November the kids of day-care were busy making crafts and paintings about Christmasclocks, angels and Jozef and Maria with baby Jesus. In addition the kids learned new Christmas songs and moreover the Bible stories leading up to the birth of Jesus were told to them.
All these things were leading up to the Christmas function on Friday on the 28th of November. In the morning the kids received their breakfast and then it was time to sing all the newly learned songs and the Christmas story of the birth of Jesus was told. After the birth of Jesus was celebrated there were a lot of things to do for the kids. The local rotary had organised a present for every kid and they also sponsored a jumping house.
The kids enjoyed the rest of day with jumping on the jumping house and received a tasty lunch, before the day was wrapped up.
